Carter Varn - Technology Advisor and Fractional CIO
Carter Varn is an IT professional with twenty plus years of experience working with technology across many industries such as Insurance, Healthcare, Financial Services, Commercial Construction and Real Estate. In addition to his experience, Carter is backed by a Management Information Systems undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Xavier University.
Carter’s work with technology started in various roles focusing on Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. For the last fifteen years Mr Varn moved into IT Executive and CIO roles for multiple companies with a focus of implementing the correct technology that is aligned with a company’s financial goals. During this time, projects managed include building out an IT team, customer facing web applications, multiple third party local and cloud-based applications, disaster recover planning, and network and telecommunication implementations.
